Test Order Independence and OAuth Enhancements
This week covers test ordering improvements and OAuth updates in public repositories.
Public Repository Updates
Test Improvements
Enhancements to the test suite for reliability and independence were introduced in standard_id. Tests now support random ordering as part of efforts to ensure consistency and reliability. This is confirmed by PR 280, which makes the spec suite order-independent, and PR 282, which focuses on autoload order independence.
OAuth Enhancements
A strict redirect-URI option was added to the OAuth flows in standard_id, via PR 279.
Maintenance and Releases
Weekly dependency maintenance was performed across multiple repositories, including standard_audit and standard_id-google. Furthermore, version v0.30.0 of standard_id and v0.2.0 of standard_singpass were released.
Private Operations
In private operations, 551 runs were executed across 23 systems with a 71% success rate. The operations spanned job, review cycle, CI, tests, deploy, scheduled jobs, and data pipelines, reflecting broad activity and engagement across private infrastructures.
